Cause Update

Wherever I go I am asked “How’s the cause going?” It’s tough to come up with a clear answer because the reported miracle presently under consideration by the Congregation of the Causes of Saints must go through a series of “tests” before the Congregation can make a judgment about its authenticity. Nonetheless, it is clear that thus far the reported miracle has not been rejected by the Holy See and there are indications that it continues to be seriously considered by medical and theological experts. As Guild members we must pray daily that the beatification of Venerable Michael Mc- Givney will become a reality soon. He is an extraordinary example for all priests and seminarians.
